Accessibility Awareness CommitteeFormed in 1996, this group of dedicated volunteers has taken an active role in accessibility issues. They have educated, promoted and lobbied both private and business sectors to become more accessible. Being the service centre for the Strait area the town of Port Hawkesbury has made significant improvements toward becoming a wheelchair friendly destination.
