2.Include all, personal information about the nominee that is requested on the nomination form.
3.Be sure to include dates for all significant achievements and career highlights.
4.If quoting material from books, newspapers, letters, or scrapbooks, include photocopies  in support of the nomination.

6.Ensure that the information is accurate and supports the nomination as either a player, a sponsor or a builder.

Teams make all the difference
Port Hawkesbury N.S. – Teams and participants are what makes a Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life event so special and fun. Of course, teams also help to raise much needed funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Did you know that last year in Nova Scotia, Relay For Life events raised $2.56-million? Teams play a huge role in those funds.  Relay For Life is the Canadian Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event. Money raised through Relay For Life funds the most promising cancer research, support programs for people living with cancer, comprehensive cancer information, prevention initiatives, and advocacy for healthy public policies.
You could help the CCS do all of those things by entering a team in the Relay For Life in Port Hawkesbury.
This year, the Town of Port Hawkesbury has teamed up with the local organizing committee to hold the event at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. What are you waiting for? Gather some friends, co-workers or family members and register a team for Relay For Life in Port Hawkesbury TODAY. Teams can fundraise in their communities or online and branch out across the whole world!
Register at:  www.cancer.ca/relay Help us Remember, Celebrate and Fight Back on June 1.
